About the Mid-State Repeater Association

The Mid-State Repeater Association (MSRA), call sign W9MRA, is a nonprofit amateur-radio organization serving Wisconsin Rapids and the surrounding central Wisconsin community.

Our mission is to support reliable local communications, encourage interest in amateur radio, and provide a welcoming place where radio operators can connect, learn, and share their knowledge. We operate and maintain open VHF and UHF repeaters in the Wisconsin Rapids area, including a connection to the wider FM38 network through AllStar.

MSRA supports public-service communications, special events, emergency preparedness, technical education, and fellowship among amateur-radio enthusiasts. Whether you are an experienced operator, recently licensed, returning to the hobby, or simply curious about amateur radio, we invite you to listen in, join the conversation, and become part of our community.
